Windows 10: Microsoft account sign-in doesn't work - no error message - no response

Windows 10 version 2004 fully updated, good internet connection

Logged-in with local account as Administrator


I am unable to sign-in to Microsoft in any of the usual places, eg. Settings, Microsoft Store, Xbox app or Edge


When clicking to sign-in to Microsoft account there is a brief pop-up which disappears in less than a second, then nothing. No error is shown and no action occurs. Repeated clicks on sign-in has same result.


Without sign-in I cannot access any licensed content and Xbox App games fail to sign-in so they do not work.


I believe there is something called the Teredo service that might be an issue, but I have no idea how to fix it.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

• Is this your first time to encounter this issue? If so, did you make any changes to your account prior to this?

Meanwhile, I suggest that you follow these steps and check if this will help you in resolving the error message:

• Press Windows key + R and type services.msc.
• Right-click Microsoft Account Sign-in assistant and choose
  Properties.
• In Startup type, choose Automatic then click
  OK.

Cannot sign in microsoft account.

My device: Lumia 520. GDR2.
I cannot sign in my Microsoft account on my device. It didnt say any error but Microsoft account is not listed in Email and account list. When I click add button, it will show microsoft account option but after press sign in, it is still not shown in email
and account. Another problem is i cannot delete facebook account. Error code: 0x83cf1202. I have tried as suggested here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2475837/en-us#step0x83cf1202 but as my Microsoft account is not shown, I cannot do step 6.

Any suggestion?
