Windows 10: Microsoft Account Transfer When Gifting A Computer?

I built a computer that has an activated OEM Windows 10 Pro operating system. I sign into this computer using my Microsoft account. I now wish to give this computer to my brother. I plan on doing a clean install of Windows to remove my programs, etc.How do I make it so he can login with his own Microsoft account instead of a local account? Can I enter his Microsoft account information during the clean install? Or will that fail because the Windows Product key it tied to me and also the computer? I have the product key that I could enter during the install. Do I have to ever "disable" th

Thanks for your response.

I do get a method of payment option, but it does not list my Microsoft account. There is also a place for debit/credit/gift card payments, but my gift card number does not match the spaces needed.

Any other suggestions?

 

Multiple questions about installing - transfer accounts etc.

According to you, the accounts were Windows built-in admin, a local admin and standard user. None of them needs to be moved.

The built-in admin account, as the name says, will be there when you boot the laptop first time. It is disabled by default, you just need to enable it. For two other accounts, simply create same accounts on laptop.

Attach the HDD to laptop using an external USB enclosure, copy contents of data folders to respective folders on laptop.

You mentioned that the desktop accounts were / are local accounts, not Microsoft accounts. See the options to get Pro here:

If you can still access Windows on desktop, boot it up, make it a Microsoft account and link license to that MS account. Tutorials:
