Windows 10: Microsoft ACPl-Compliant Control Method Battery

I have been having changing problems with my laptop/tablet - if I use the factory charger, everything is fine. However if I power it differently, it will not charge if it is switched on. There are many posts regarding charging problems but none of the solutions work. I need it as it is mounted on my wheelchair and is powered by the wheelchair battery. It uses 2 X 12V batteries. The 24V feeds a converter that outputs 5V at 5A max more than enough. My computer/tablet is a Linx 12V64 running Win 10 64bit, latest build. I tested voltage and current and it's fine and even tried a micro USB OTG lead but nothing worked. To add to my problems, when I open the "battery" section in Device Manager, I only have Microsoft AC Adapter - the Microsoft ACPl-Compliant Control Method Battery is gone. I tried Scan For New Hardware, reboot, reset, install from battery.inf and any other .inf that seemed related to battery - but nothing. This also causes another problem - I have no idea of how much battery is left. Does anybody have any idea how to re-install this device without doing a fresh Windows install ? For now, that is top priority - the charging issue comes after.

Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method: What has to do with battery?

I bought for second time a battery replacement for my old laptop (2012). I don't know how exactly works laptop's battery market but it wasn't a original one. The battery brand is "Green Cell" and the model "PT6V8"
After 2 months of using that battery I notices various issues and often crashes (suddenly shutdowns) even when the laptop was plugged in. When I removed the battery everything returns to normal functioning. I complaint to the seller and his answer was to uninstall that software device (Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method).

Do you agree with this suggestion?

Yes, it is one of the things to try before deciding the battery is faulty. Uninstall it in Device Manager and scan for hardware changes. Device Manager will reinstall it again. ACPI stands for 'Advanced Configuration and Power Interface'.
