Based on your description you "may" be seeing a "video card" issue.

Hi!

You can do the following:

1) Download the Google Authenticator App

2) Scan the QR code from the MS page and open the link deciphered from the QR code.

3) If Google Authenticator App has been installed properly (as it should), it should automatically open. Confirm that you want to add the Microsoft account.

Not sure it's to be posted here but yeah, i've seen this too on reddit.
I'm not sure if this will be more used or useful for the general user.
There are a lot of people that still don't know what a QR-Code is or how to use it.

I think it should be more useful that, after a BSOD, when the computer is booted and the user has logged back in, an internet page is opened where more information about the problem is displayed, what the user can do, ... . Maybe even the possibility to upload de DMP file to, let say version.xforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging ? *Smile

 

Good thoughts. Yes maybe this belongs under News or whatever. Someone will no doubt move it in that case.
