  1. Microsoft All-in-One Media Keyboard Not working on Windows 11 Professional

Hello,Please help! I purchased a new Beelink AMD computer that is running Windows 11 Professional. I've attached a brand new Microsoft All-inOne Media keyboard. The keys on the keyboard work and interact with my system, although the touchpad does not. I've installed all of the required and optional Windows updates. I've installed the 64-bit driver for the keyboard. I've also tried to connect via each of the two USB 2 dongles that are at the front of the Beelink, and I've tried uninstalling the keyboard and restarting my system. Windows 11 Professional is listing my keyboard as the Microsoft Du

Microsoft All-in-One Media Keyboard not working on Windows 10?

    Hi,

Can anyone help with this? Thanks.

    Windows 10 version: 1909 (Build: 18363.815)

I've recently bought the Microsoft All-in-One Media Keyboard and was told the guy couldn't getting it working on Windows 10 but it worked on Windows 8.1 fine.

However, there are YouTube videos showing it used on Windows 10 and on Microsoft's official page for this keyboard here shows Windows 10 has full, not limited support.

    • The USB dongle is found fine.
    • I've clicked "Update Driver" on all the drivers in Device Manager for the Dongle and Keyboard.
    • I've installed the latest version (12.200) of the "Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center", although I don't believe this is necessary for the keyboard just to work.
Bizarrely "Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center" sees the keyboard fine and I can even customise it.

    But no button works?

    Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

    Anyone?Thanks

  3. Windows Media Player 11 misses release day

Microsoft had scheduled Windows Media Player 11 for final release on October 24th, 2006. Microsoft has delayed release of the next version of its media player to an unspecified date. "As with any release, quality is our top priority, and we felt we needed a few additional days to bring Windows Media Player 11 up to the high quality standards we--and our customers and partners--demand." Microsoft did not mention exactly what part of Windows Media Player 11 didn't meet the bar. Microsoft has no defined date of when Windows Media Player 11 will be released, though rumors around the internet claim that Microsoft will release it on October 30th.

Keyboard Media/Volume keys not working, only on this computer, and only this keyboard

The media keys, volume knob, sleep button and mute button on my "Das Keyboard 4 Professional" keyboard stopped working a few weeks ago after a reboot that I think was caused by a Windows Update.

I've tried the following steps to try and solve the issue:

    • Try a different keyboard - The media keys on a logitech wireless usb keyboard work fine, even in the same USB port.
    • Try keyboard with another PC - When plugged in to my laptop the Das Keyboard media/volume keys work fine.
    • Try another USB port - No difference
    • Tried completely wiping any trace of the keyboard from the registry/device manager, then plugging it in again - No difference.
    • Created a new user on the PC - No difference.
    • Ensured the HID Human Interface Service is running.
    • Disable touch keyboard and related services.

    What could be causing this?
