  2. Configuring Automatic Windows 10 Update Delivery/Download

My apologies if I offended you, my annoyance was not directed to yourself but Microsoft instead. Once again apologies if I did offend you, it was not intended.

F.Y.I The link you provided me stated that W10 Home users (myself) are unable to delay/toggle the downloads, it does work however for those who are W10 Pro+.

  3. Windows- Edge 10 is infected by virus

When this happened to me, I closed Microsoft Edge using the Task Manager.

Then in the search bar next to the Windows 10 logo on the bottom off the screen (I call it the "Cortana Search"), I typed in google.com and hit enter.

Microsoft Edge opened up with a new tab for Google. You can see the offending site still opens in a tab that doesn't have focus. Click the "X" to close Edge. Do not click on the offending site tab or it will get focus again.

When Edge closes nicely, it won't "Restore" the sessions and the offending site tab will be gone.

The main thing I want Microsoft to tell me about OneDrive is how to completely uninstall every trace of it from my Win10 PCs. If they want to apologize for something, it can be about not making clear how to do that earlier.

You can uninstall the app, if that's what you want. It will probably delete anything you have stored there, but, if that's what you want to do. Afraid I can't test that for you because I do not want to completely uninstall every trace of it from my Win10 PCs. I find it useful and convenient. Your machine, your call.....

I really wish they'd give an update about placeholders/smartfiles. That's really all that I want back.
Everything I keep on there is basically junk stuff from my phone and tablet. xD

Thanks for the link though, I have grown comfortable with my free 30GB of storage. I will admit that.

Me too, thanks very much for the link. Shame the title isn't "Sign up to keep your free storage" to make it more obvious....

I would never store any data that I care about in some cloud storage that I do not control. A couple of 2 TB disks are a much better option.

Have you got a link for a free one?

I don't care about free. My data is worth more than the price of a few disks.
