    I got the extra 15gb sometime ago and for the life of me I can't recall how I got it.. but, I now use this site: MEGA

    50Gb of free space..

    you need to turn the feature in the onedrive app on your phone to auto upload/backup pictures to onedrive on, then let it back up some photos

    after it has auto backup you pictures you should see the additional space (if MS are still offering this)

    That is considered a promotion and should remain indefinitely. The promotion should be listed differently in your Microsoft account.
