Windows 10: Microsoft App store not updating Apps

Discus and support Microsoft App store not updating Apps in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I tried to update an app but when i went onto the updates section of the app store is showed multiple apps that said downloading yet when clicked on...     Microsoft App store not updating Apps


    I tried to update an app but when i went onto the updates section of the app store is showed multiple apps that said downloading yet when clicked on individually they would say preparing to download, getting files ready. i waited 1 hour and none of the apps had made any progress. any suggestions what problem could be? i tired to include a screen shot but it failed to upload
