    I used to have a work account for microsoft that I could use on my pc, when I left, I bought the microsoft suite as an individual, it asked me to set up an account which I did. However, now I just get this ribbon:I sign in, and sign in, and nothing helps, I've downloaded the apps 7 times, but none of them work. This is so frustrating.Please help!! I need to work!Thanks in advance.

    This issue might occur due to some corruption in the Windows Store.

    I would suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps.

    Method 1: Try running Windows store app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:


    • Type troubleshooting in the
      Search
      area on the taskbar.

    • Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.

    • Select Windows store Apps.

    • Follow the on screen instruction.
    If issue persist, I suggest you to try method2.

    Method 2: Try resetting the Windows Store cache and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps to Reset Windows Store cache.


    • Press Windows key + R on your keyboard.

    • Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
    If issue persist, I suggest you to try method 3.

    Method 3:

    I suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the following article
    (Except app troubleshooter
    ) and check if it helps.

    Licence not linked to Microsoft Account

    Those tutorials seem to apply to deactivating and reactivating a retail product key on a new PC, which isn't applicable here as my Mum has a digital licence. I imagine if I deactivate the licence on her old PC now it will just automatically reactivate as she's logged in using her outlook.com account, so maybe I'll have to wait until the new PC is set up and then call/message Microsoft to activate the licence.

    Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
