    Hi JulianZWTan,

    I understand that you want to use the Microsoft Arc Bluetooth Mouse on your laptop. However, it is
    only compatible with Windows version 8 and higher. What I would suggest is to use a Bluetooth mouse that is compatible with Windows 7.

    microsoft bluetooth arc mouse not working with surface workbook on Windows 10 ver 1703

    My surface arc mouse not able to be recognized as a bluetooth mouse.

    bluetooth settings showed the mouse as having a driver error.

    i deleted the device and then added it again.

    However, it is listed as an arc mouse SE as a generic other device.

    I have installed the arc mouse application from the store and it does not find the device.

    Have installed updated drivers to latest edition.

    Concluded that latest window 10 ver 1703 does not support the windows surface mouse bluetooth (?).

    That is hard to believe but maybe Microsoft testing doesn't include mouse devices on new versions?

    we tried the arc mouse on a different windows 10 pc and it worked fine, recognized as a mouse, no issues.

    have gone through device manager and tried to see if there were any settings to adjust but cannot find any.

    looking for help here.

    Have perfectly fine arc mouse that does not work with a surface workbook!!!!

    To better assist you with your concern, I'd like to know the following:

    • Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:
    • Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
    • Click OK.
    • Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?
    • What is the exact of your Surface device?
    • Please clarify that the issue is about the ARC Bluetooth Mouse somehow locks your computer and sends you to the lockscreen.
