Windows 10: Microsoft Arc Mouse - Disable Scrolling After Releasing

My arc mouse will continue to scroll for a second after I've lifted my finger from the pad. It's very annoying, and causes things like resizing the font in the browser, etc. How do I disable this?

• When did this problem start to happen?
  
  Since I got the mouse
  

• Can you try using a different mouse to see if it does the same thing?
  
  A USB mouse does not scroll but the wifi arc touch mouse will.
  

• Do you have a different computer that you can test your mouse if its doing the same thing?
  
  I tried the arc touch with a similar Dell and it did not auto scroll as much, just once in about 15 minutes
  

How are you supposed to invoke this auto scroll "feature?" I can't make it happen on my own, it just occurs randomly as I am scrolling through a web page or a Word document,

The Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them option might have been turned off that is why you cannot use the scroll pads. Kindly check if that option is turned off. You may follow these steps:

• Go to Settings, then select Mouse.
• Check if the Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them is turned off. If so, turn that option on.
  

If the issue persists, kindly uninstall the Arc Touch Mouse driver for the , then reinstall it.
