Windows 10: Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse not discoverable

Hi there, we had this mouse in a drawer for more than a year and it used to work fine. However, even with fresh batteries and going through all the troubleshooting steps HERE and HERE and HERE, but the device is still not working. The product model is rvf-00052-It has the wireless transceiver USB which shows up in device manager and appears to be working.-I've tried downloading the Keyboard and Mouse Center, and also the Arc software, but both show that I don't have a compatible device connected. -I DO have a USB dongle paired Logitech keyboard and Anker mouse in-use as I'm doing this I d

Thanks for your answer.

I read few articles about a line of products from Microsoft using the AES encryption.

But how do you know that this particular mouse (Arc Touch Mouse) is also using the same encryption technology?

I thought that the only devices with AES encryption were the ones listed on this page:
