Windows 10: Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse "sleeping"

Any ideas on how to fix the annoying issue where the Arc Touch mouse goes to "sleep" after only a few seconds of non-movement?

I'm getting tired of having to turn it off / on.

Thanks for your answer.

I read few articles about a line of products from Microsoft using the AES encryption.

But how do you know that this particular mouse (Arc Touch Mouse) is also using the same encryption technology?

I thought that the only devices with AES encryption were the ones listed on this page:

Bluetooth Arc Touch mouse is not working

Had the same problem with this mouse on my Surface Pro 2 and 4.

The following worked for me and it's still working after 24 hours, a computer restart and sleep mode.

1) Go to Bluetooth and Other Devices Settings

2) Remove the mouse (this will also uninstall the software)

3) Download, install and open the Bluetooth Arc Touch Mouse App from the Microsoft Store

4) Download and install the mouse driver (MouseKeyboardCenter) from the Microsoft Support Page for the Bluetooth Arc Touch Mouse.

That's it.
