Windows 10: Microsoft are Orwells Thought Police. Deleting countless users entire comment history...

On 7th November all of my comments made under news articles, disappeared overnight. They were removed. This seems to happen to countless people. Google something like 'all my comments have disappeared on MSN.'And there has never been one honest answer given, as to who is doing it and why. I joined this platform and made accurate, 'substantially true' comments about House Price inflation, which were justifiably critical of the Labour Government, the Media and the Banks. Until one day, all comments magically disappeared!I feel like one of the worlds biggest companies, should not be operating

My comments & replies history has disappeared. How do I recover it?

To give you more background, I replied to someone else's comment. But they deleted their original comment and, thus, the entire thread. My entire comment history disappeared at the same time they deleted the thread. It may be totally unrelated.

Anyway, I've tried all the suggestions with the same outcome. I'll reach out to Help and Feedback.

Prevent users from deleting browsing history.

Hi Sara,

Requiring a password when deleting browsing history is not possible. However, you can have this option disabled under Local Group Policy Editor. Here's how:

• Right-click the Window key and click Run.
• Type in gpedit.msc and hit Enter.
• Once the Local Group Policy Editor is open, navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer.
• Double click Delete Browsing History.
• Look for Prevent access to Delete Browsing History, double click it, click
  Enable > Apply > OK.

Doing the above steps will deny access in Delete Browsing History dialog box for all standard users. If you want to do this on a user-basis, you'll have to follow the same procedure, but navigate to
User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer.

Delete History

1. Are you referring to Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge in Windows 10?

2. Are you referring items in the Address Bar drop-down list?

3. When trying to delete the History, did you uncheck "Preserve Favorites website data"?

Please follow the below steps on How to delete the browsing history in Internet Explorer 11.

• In Internet Explorer, press CTRL+ SHIFT + DEL keys together on your keyboard to display the
  Delete Browsing History dialog
• Check the box next to History.
