Windows 10: Microsoft Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse buttons not working

Can some please help me out I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse the buttons do not work but the wheel works the curser moves around. I have tried 6 different ways on trying to fix this issue please help. I am running windows 11 and bluetooth is 5.2. Thanks

I understand that your microsoft ergonomic mouse 1955 is not working;

Download the Mouse and Keyboard Center app:

Try to remove the device and add it again;

Press Windows key + i and go to Devices;

Locate the mouse in the device list and remove it;

Click Add Bluetooth or other device;

Click on Bluetooth and try to pair the mouse again;

This should work;

Microsoft bluetooth ergonomic mouse 1955 stopped responding.

I have a Microsoft bluetooth ergonomic mouse model 1955.
The mouse worked well and suddenly stopped responding. The blue light at the bottom is flashing slowly when power button is turned on, but the mouse is not pairing no responding. When trying to push the bluetooth button at the bottom to switch channels or long press to re-pair, it doesn't respond.

I tried replacing the batteries but no change.

Mouse wheel on Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse doesn't work

I recently bought a Microsoft Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse.

It is fantastic, except that the scroll function doesn't work when using the wheel -- and it turns out that I never realized how much I use the mouse wheel until I bought a mouse with a non-working wheel,

The wheel itself spins incredibly well, but it does not send a scroll signal to the computer, it seems.

I have removed all software on my system that could potentially interfere with the mouse, but it doesn't fix anything.

I have tried another mouse on the exact same computer and the wheel works. When I plug my fancy new bluetooth ergonomic mouse, scrolling stops.

Sometimes I can scroll from the top of a page once, then it stops working completely. I have a feeling that it is a software issue, not a hardware issue.

Have updated to latest drivers, etc

not sure if this is a Surface incompatibility thing or some software that only kicks in when using the Bluetooth Ergonomic, but it is so frustrating!!!

Anybody got ideas?
