Windows 10: Microsoft Bluetooth mouse freezes

Hey guys,Just bought Microsoft Bluetooth Ergonomic Mouse, and noticed that it freezes after about 5 seconds of inactivity on my Windows notebook. I mean, if you don't move it for 5 seconds or more, then move it, the pointer stays on the same place for a moment, then disappears, then appears on the new place.The same thing with scrolling. If you read a text on the Internet and don't scroll for 5 seconds, then scroll, the page position stays the same for a moment, then sharply scrolls.It's really annoying and it's hard to work with it.I've got an old Microsoft Explorer 3000 mouse with radioband

I did try that, no difference.

You mean on the computer? It's built in.

• Try connecting the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse to a different USB port.

The only thing in the 1.5' between the mouse and the laptop is a chair arm and the computer power cord.

• Go to the Start screen.
• Type Windows update and click on it from the list of results.
• Click on Check for updates on the left pane in the new window.

Windows is up to date.

I thought I just did. It's a Microsoft mouse.

 

Microsoft bluetooth mouse 3600 suddenly undetected


I'm using a Microsoft mouse 3600 on Windows 10, all worked fine until suddenly the mouse stopped working, it disappeared from the Bluetooth detection and can't be found anymore. I need to say Windows performed an update yesterday but it still worked fine after the update. I've tried replacing batteries, updating Bluetooth driver, went one step before the updates and nothing. I obviously tried troubleshooting about anything.The mouse does work on other laptops.

Any ideas? thanks
