Microsoft Family Safety App Annoying

This rubbish app called Microsoft Family Safety is honestly the most annoying app ever

I have created multiple email addresses for my child

The app is constantly telling them that they must use Microsoft Edge. Why on earth do we have to use Edge for

The app never tells me their location or any other info about their usage of the phones

A company like Microsoft got this completely wrong

Yes, I have checked all the app settings and the device settings, they are all set up as instructed by Microsoft

Really annoying

Please fix this ASAP Microsoft

Before we proceed, we require more information to assist you better.

• Which web browser are you using?
• Are the settings on the Family Safety options on your computer are the same with the one on
  http://familysafety.live.com?

I suggest you to login with your parental account and check if you are able to manage the family settings.



If the issue still persist, it might appears that the Child account is not configure correctly. I suggest you to remove the Family Safety and configure it again.

How do I remove Family Safety?

Now, setup Family Safety.

After creating the child account, you can then go to the Family Safety website, login using the parent account and then manage your child's restrictions and monitoring options.

To disable your Microsoft account family safety please try the below steps:

- Open the Microsoft Family Safety app > tap "Manage family."

- Choose "Remove from family," > confirm removal.

- Your Family Safety settings will be disabled.

Alternatively, you can do this through your Microsoft account:

- Visit account.microsoft.com/family > sign in.

- Select "Manage my family."

- Click your name and choose "Leave family group."

- Confirm your departure.
