  2. About windows 10 cumulative updates

    1) Yes, but only ones not already installed are downloaded.

    2) Microsoft has not said so.

    3) As needed. Frequently with a new OS and then not so much. No schedule is followed like Patch Tuesday (second Tuesday of the month for security updates). Occaisionally a security update may be released on the fourth Tuesday or immediately if the danger
it is patching in severe enough.

Non-security updates may be released anytime.

There may be another cumulative update next week or next month.

    excerpt from the article posted........

On ghacks.net, Martin Brinkmann notes that another theory is Microsoft may be moving to make Windows Update exclusive for home users, and will use the Microsoft Update Catalog for Enterprise and other business users.
    .................................................................................................... ..............................................

    That does make sense.

This is only an issue if you want to download and save said patch manually right? Otherwise windows update is going to do all the magic same as before, just from a different source.
