    Windows 10 latest update destroyed windows virtualization capabilities

    Hello,

    I'm Microsoft technologies developer and I need many simultaneous development environments.

    I use together

    VMWare Workstation 12 Pro and Virtual box and I use Hyper V inside VMWare virtual machine (VMWare allow inner virtualization).

    I virtualize

    Windows (XP/7/8/8.1 and 10)

    Mac OS to compile my Xamarin projects

    IOS (inside my virtual mac), Android with Xamarin android player that need virtual box and Windows Phone in Hyper V.

    Linux (multiples versions)

    Since the latest big windows update my host was under Windows 10, VMWare Bridged network stopped to works.

    Is it possible to know what was change for network system between Windows 10 and the new one ?

    I am having identical problem and it seem to be related to VS installation.

    In my case, I need both VS2013 and Xamarin VS2015. I have already done 2ice fresh install.

    First time, noticed this issue after installing Xamarin VS2015

    On 2nd fresh install, noticed same after installing Xamarin VS2015 (according to Xamarin recommendations from

    https://university.xamarin.com/resources/win-setup

    to download and install VS2015. I have a feeling it has to do something with Windows Phone emulators.

    Here is what Xamarin asks to select during VS2015 installation:
