microsoft common language keep running and taking 100% of my CPU usage.

The operation 'Microsoft common language runtime native compiler' is using up 100% of my CPU and hampering my computer's performance. Everytime I end the task, after about 10-20 minutes, I hear my fans start to ramp up again and it is back, using all of my CPU. Is there a fix to this problem?, it gets quite annoying ending the task every 10 minutes. The file it takes me to when i click on open file location is a file called 'ngen.exe' in this directory: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319. I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas or fixes,

    :)

  2. How to stop 'Microsoft common language .....' using 100% of my CPU?

Thansk for the reply. I have downloaded Malwarebytes Antimalware and have eliminated all the detections. Yet still the problem persists. the fans spin up at max speed and in task manager Microsoft Common Language Native Runtime is taking most of the CPU usage.

If i may , i have seen similar problems which you have solved.

    Redirecting

I have done the same steps . i have downloaded FRST64 and i have scanned .here are the two logs.

  3. How to stop 'Microsoft common language .....' using 100% of my CPU?

Every time I turn on the laptop., after 2-3 mins the fans spin up at max speed . then i check at the task manager and i see cpu usage ranging from 38% to 100% . i look at the the processes and i notice most of the usage is by " microsoft common language---something". The whole name is incomplete because whenever i open the task manager and try to shut this process down and the process automatically disappears , the cpu usage drops down to 1-2% and the fans also slow down. this whole ordeal happens everytime i turn on the laptop. Kindly help me to get rid of this whole situation permanently

Microsoft Common Language Runtime native compiler high cpu usage

    Hi Sherry,

I've installed the latest Microsoft updates and performed a clean boot. My computer still has the same issues. In clean boot mode, Microsoft Common Language Runtime native compiler and Windows Host Processes (Rundll32) are still running constantly and using
up lots of CPU. Windows Backup is also still failing with error code 0x80780166.

What steps should I take now?
