    Whenever I turn my laptop on my CPU immediately jumps up to 90% because of this process. Whenever I end task it starts back up again in seconds. I'm not sure how to fix this I've already tried a couple of suggestions. My Windows Defender also shows me this ,,Threat blocked'' in my Protection History and it seems to get blocked every few days so I'm not sure if it's a virus or a framework issue. Please help!

    I've installed the latest Microsoft updates and performed a clean boot. My computer still has the same issues. In clean boot mode, Microsoft Common Language Runtime native compiler and Windows Host Processes (Rundll32) are still running constantly and using
    up lots of CPU. Windows Backup is also still failing with error code 0x80780166.

    What steps should I take now?

    Every time I boot into windows, Microsoft common language runtime native compiler starts running and takes high cpu. It appears a while after I stop it in task manager and if I don't stop it, more such task will appear (up to 8 instances).

    I read these threads and would like to try this method as well, but it seems external assistance is needed.
