The above article covers some of the problems that were acknowledged by Microsoft, such as Bluetooth headphones and speakers not working and recent security issues. But, nothing was mentioned regarding unresponsive type covers being effected.


I have followed every suggestion and troubleshooter provided by Microsoft, including starting from scratch and reinstalling Windows 10. Nothing has worked! As much as I hate to buy a new keyboard, especially knowing Microsoft caused the problem, but I need to type documents and the touchscreen keyboard isn't enough. Since my Surface Pro 4 can't detect the MS type cover, will a new keyboard even work?

This is the correct default behavior - front headphone mutes rear speakers.

Starting with 1903, Microsoft wants every peripheral manufacturer to write a very small (and therefore more secured) driver and leave all the extra stuff on a separate download.

So no more Realtek HD Audio Manager with 1903. Realtek wrote a new white label Realtek Audio Control windows app that has all the extra stuff like equalizer. The problem is that it is only available from your motherboard manufacturer because Realtek is not releasing it at the moment. And most motherboard manufacturers don't update their drivers of their existing lineup to the 1903 driver.

setting up win10 Bluetooth and my Bluetooth headphones work fine ,but every time I reconnect the headphones I have to delete them from Bluetooth settings and let win10 pickup the headphones again ,before they will pair ,then win10 want to reboot to add the headphones ,I reboot and they work fine ,but next time I plug the headphone in again they will not pair ,don't even get an option to pair till I delete the head phones from the list ,, any suggestions ,, thank
