Windows 10: Microsoft CPS document writer disappeared from my computer - how can I re-install it?

Hello, I tried to print to PDF/email/save invoices from Quickbooks and after troubleshooting, it appears that Microsoft XPS document writer is missing from my computer. I have looked under apps and printers and cannot find it. How can I reinstall it on my computer?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve XPS document writer issues.

• 
  Right click on empty area on Desktop, click on Create and select New text document.
  
• 
  Open the created text document and type some text (input text as you desire, save and close text file)
  
• 
  Again open the text document, click on File tab and click on Print.
  
• 
  Select the Microsoft XPS writer and click on Print button.
  
• 
  You may select the location to save the file.

Missing Microsoft XPS Document Writer

Hi, Brad and LK375,

I am having this exact same issue and I suddenly could not use QuickBooks to print or email invoices since 4 weeks ago, which
is most annoying.

The technical support of QuickBooks has logged into my computer and shown me the XPS Document Writer is missing from the printer list of Microsoft on my computer, so they could not either add or reinstall it back to
allow QuickBooks to print or email invoices.

I am wondering if you or anyone have eventually have the issue resolved. If so, could you please kindly advise how you make the XPS Document Writer show up in the printer
list under Microsoft again?
