Windows 10: Microsoft defende showed 300 finds. I was out when it finished and there doesnt seem to be...

Hello I had malware on the PC win 10 there are 3 hard drives and used I AV software to remove it. I ran AV 3 times and No thing found. I ran Microsoft defender and while it was running it showed over 300 finds. I was out when the scan finished and there doesnt seem to be a report of what was found. Any Help Would be Appreciated Thanks K

I'm one who tries to think of step 2 before step 1 is finished. If this doesnt work I may be looking at finding a cpu/motherboard combo that I can afford that has at least the same performance as what I have, which was new in 2011. I will be upgrading eventually in the next year anyway. Any suggestions of a CPU/MB for around $300? Or less?

I would suggest you to open Windows defender and add exclusions and check if it helps. Follow the steps to add exclusions in windows Defender.

• 
  Type Windows defender settings in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Under Exclusions click on Add Exclusion

Defender updates no longer shown

I suggest you to follow the steps below:

• Type defender in the search box.
• Click on update.
• Check for the date on which defender is being updated.
• If the recent date is mentioned then it will not show in the Automatic Updates.
• Also click on update definition and check if any update is pending.
