Windows 10: Microsoft Defender Antimalware Service Execeutable Urgent Please help!

Ok so i didnt touch my rather new laptop for a month, i come back and use it, and after awhile for using it this antimalware service executable appears and eats alot of my memory and im doinf nothing and it just constantly eats and increases usage! Please i need urgent help as im a college student and need to use it evrryday and this hinders me

I am still having the problem even with the latest prerelease build. The Antimalware Service Executable process is often running and taking a lot of CPU, disk and memory. The same The Antimalware Service Executable -> Windows Defender Service ...
Too often the PC (an I7 one, 8 GB EliteBook HP) is stuck and even the response of a keyboard entry is very slow!!

Any suggestions?
