    Microsoft Defender Antivirus Error


    Hey, back with another problem.After going through instructions and instructions I will sum up what I have done in order to get to where I am now.Prior to the instructions my Windows Defender Antivirus was and still is snoozed. I downloaded malwarebyte and attempted to scan and remove any possible malware but quit after roughly 3 hours of it scanning on the same 30%. I proceeded to go through services and do the whole start Microsoft Defender Antivirus Service, didn't work and got this error: I made sure to do the reged and make the start for it 2 and all that nonsense. I just need help on fig

    Defender AntiVirus

    There are 4 options under Defender. Two refer to AntiVirus; AntiVirus Network Inspection Service & AntiVirus Services. Under Startup Type these two are listed as manual and the Status column said Inspection Service is running. When I clicked on the Start
    button in Properties, I got an immediate message: "Win.. Def.. Anti.. Serv.. on local comp.. started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."

    Hi everyone, I have again the same error 0x80070643 updating windows defender antivirus platform. Now with sfc /scannow and dism i don't found errors. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Thank you for sharing this to Microsoft Community. Let's try to start Windows Defender services and see if it helps. Follow these steps:

    • Press Windows + R key and type
      Microsoft Defender Antivirus Error [​IMG]
      Services.msc and press Enter.
    • Search for the service "Windows Defender".
    • Right click on "Windows Defender" and click Properties.
    • Click Start button.
    • Click Apply and Ok to save changes.
    • Restart the computer and check.
