Windows 10: Microsoft Defender Protection updates Error Code 800b0101, appearing on over 1000+...

Protection Updates Erroring: Endpoints are no longer able to intiate Protection Updates on Windows Defender after recieving June 10th updates. Error Code: 800b0101 A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamo in the sign file.Endpoints are now showing as not compliant within our Intune enviroment, I have ran the below remiditations to no effect. Made sure endpoints are synced within our envriomentChecked a handful of endpoints all showing the correct time and dateCertificates are coming back as valid after running "

Error Code 43 is a Device Manager error that means the following:

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

When you get this error with USB devices it’s because one of the drivers controlling the device notified the operating system that the device failed in some manner. This can be because of corruption in one of the loaded drivers and the driver
cache needs to be flushed.

Method 1: Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your touch Screen. Refer these steps:

  Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
  
• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
  
• 
  Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter
  

Method 2.

I suggest you to manually update the Mouse driver from the Device Manager.

1. Right click on Start button and click on Device Manager.

2. Search for Mice and other pointing devices from the list of devices.

3. Expand Mice and other pointing devices.

4. Uninstall the mouse driver and reinstall the latest driver from manufacturer website.
