Windows 10: Microsoft.Directx.direct3d cant be found by batman arkham city

When opening batman arkham city from steam it tells me that microsoft.directx.direct3d cant be found.i have tried various ways to fix like changing registry once awhile agowhich may be the source of the problem and then also doing the end user method and none seem to work,i am in need of serious help since the game costed alot.

Unable to save Batman Arkham City!

I had a problem of not saving the Batman Arkham City on WIndows 10 and it restarts from Bell Tower mission.

I spent a day on finding a solution and it keep revolving around "Games for Window Marketplace".

The solution that worked for me is to uninstall the game and GFWM, then reinstalling GFWM first followed by installing the game in C:\ drive ( the drive that has your Windows installed ). I haven't logged in to GFWM but mysteriously my game
is saving good now.

I hope this helps someone.

 

DirectX, Windows 10, Batman: Arkham Asylum

Hi, yesterday a friend bought me Batman: Arkham Asylum on Steam. So when I launched it, it did the usual update/check of my drivers. Then it crashed and gave me an error message: "Continue" or "Close." It also said that if i pressed "Continue" the game might
not function properly, and if I pressed "Close," it would shut down the game. I pressed Continue, and the game menu popped up, except without any letters on the buttons. I guessed where the "Play" button was and clicked, the game then crashed and gave a final
error message. I went onto the Steam forums, and I wasn't the only one who had this problem. Someone in the comments said that one had to install the last DirectX version or install physxloader.dll into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman
Arkham Asylum GOTY\Binaries.

I tried to find how to install directx but i can't find any official website that just has a FLIPPING download button! Please Help!

PS. I am reinstalling the game now, and i will update if I forgot anything significant.

 

does windows 10 supports windows live games, such as batman arkham city?

I have updated my windows 7 ultimate to windows 10 pro, but i'm worried now.... I love batman arkham city and want to play it on windos 10, but this game saves only when there is a windows live profile.... would I be able to play the game?
