    Microsoft disconnected me from the internet!


    Over one week ago I encountered a Bluetooth connectivity problem and called Microsoft to fix the issue. The Microsoft technician did a remote assist and managed to uninstall the WiFi driver for my pc.


    This problem has not been resolved even though it has been elevated to a level 2 technician. I am totally frustrated with the situation.

    Microsoft is a trillion dollar company and the customer servicing is abominable!


    I am sick of this exasperating situation. I really feel some kind of compensation is due for the disgustingly poor service and the fact that I have had to wait so long for a fix which wasn't my fault in the first place!!!

    Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

    Internet disconnection

    I don't know why I have disconnection while using the Internet. Is it due to the ISP or the router or modem? The modem and router all have lights on. It disconnected for less than 30s then back on.

    Hi,

    In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things.

    • Do you get any error message when the internet disconnects?
    • Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
    • Are you able to connect through wired connection?

    I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1: I suggest you to run the internet troubleshooter as below and check if it helps.

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search bar.
    • Once the window open click on View All located on the left navigation pane.
    • Locate and select Internet Connection and run the in build troubleshooter.

    Method 2: I suggest you to follow the steps from the below article
    “Fix network connection issues” and check if it helps.
