Windows 10: Microsoft DPM 2019

Hello,I have a weird problem with Data Protection Manager 2019.I use it to take backups of VMWare Infrastructure VMWare version 6.5 among other things. All short term backups are completing successfully and I can restore VM's from disk storage.But when the VM backups are written to tape long-term backups although that seems to be completed successfully, only few KB are written to tape for each virtual machine.With a test restore I tried from tape DPM creates the virtual machine to VMWare but does not copy any disk data. It seems that in tape exist only the virtual machine configuration and

Microsoft DPM Server 1801 migrate to new hardware Server and upgrade to DPM 2019

Dear Friends,

I am working on task to migrate DPM Server 1801 to new Server machine and upgrade to DPM 2019.

My Current Server configuration running DPM 1801

Windows Server 2016 Standard

SQL Server 2016 Standard

Microsoft DPM 1801

Two SAN Volumes for Backup repository (contained already running backups of last 5 years)

My requirement is to upgrade DPM 1801 to 2019 Server on same server in first phase and in second phase migrate upgraded DPM Server 2019 to New Server Hardware along with all existing backups and SAN backup volumes containing backups. We have also a tape library as well which needs to be migrate to new Server hardware as well.

Please help and guide straight forward method to achieve this task.

DPMS not working

A have been unable to run DPMS on my computer (Windows 11 LInux)

server does not have extension for dpms option

Office 2019

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

Microsoft Office 2019 will only work on Windows 10

Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

• Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
• Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
  • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
  • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
• The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.
