Windows 10: Microsoft DPM Server 1801 migrate to new hardware Server and upgrade to DPM 2019

Dear Friends,I am working on task to migrate DPM Server 1801 to new Server machine and upgrade to DPM 2019.My Current Server configuration running DPM 1801Windows Server 2016 StandardSQL Server 2016 StandardMicrosoft DPM 1801Two SAN Volumes for Backup repository contained already running backups of last 5 yearsMy requirement is to upgrade DPM 1801 to 2019 Server on same server in first phase and in second phase migrate upgraded DPM Server 2019 to New Server Hardware along with all existing backups and SAN backup volumes containing backups. DPM 2016 Installation With Remote SQL Server

Hi Guys

I'm trying to install DPM 2016 with a SQL 2014 Running on different Machine. I've created Firewall rules for necessary ports and Executables. But I'm stuck with one rule. Can someone help me how to Check the following rule? Thanks in advance

Set up firewall rules so that the DPM server can communicate with the SQL Server computer:

• Make sure TCP/IP is enabled with default failure audit and enable password policy checking.

My name is fajar. Currently we have plan to extend our storage in dpm server but we have got information from our colleague that DPM only support maks 300 user, is it correct?

if its correct it will be big issue to us because we have employee more than 1000.

I am looking at replacing a backup product with DPM 2016 and wondered what storage targets where supported

it seems that only directly mounted storage can be used as a backup repository or am I way off mark here
