Opening FTP Link Zip Files on Microsoft Edge

    Hello Yousef,

Please provide more information before we proceed further.

    • Which Windows 10 version is installed on the system?
    • What exactly happens when you try to access FTP links?
    • Did you get any error code or message when you try to access FTP files?

Suggest you to check for any pending Windows updates and check if it helps.

Method 1: Disable third party antivirus software on the system.

Disable Antivirus and security-related products, if you have any Antivirus installed for (Free) uninstall it, if not then disable the Antivirus, try again to update and check if issue is resolved.

Disclaimer: Antivirus software helps protecting your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you
have to temporarily disable it to install other software and\or troubleshoot any pertinent issue, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you are connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is
    vulnerable to malware attacks.

Method 2: Clearing cache and cookies

I would suggest you try clearing cache and cookies and check if it helps, follow the steps below:

    • Click on the More actions (…) icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Microsoft Edge browser.
    • Select Settings and click on
      Choose what to clear
      .
    • Check the boxes Browsing history,
      Cookies
and saved website data and Cached data and
      files and click on Clear.
Method 3: Clear the SSL state

In some instances there may be corrupted information in the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) cache; this corrupted information can cause websites to not load correctly. This information is cleared each time you
restart your computer but can be removed by using the Clear SSL State option in Internet Explorer without having to restart your computer. To do this, follow these steps:

    a) Open Internet Explorer

    b) In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options

    c) Click the Content tab, and then click Clear SSL state

Let us know if you need any further assistance on Windows related issues and we will be glad to help.

    Method 3:

If you are using any Proxy connection, then try disabling the proxy connection and check.

Follow the steps to disable proxy:

    • Click the Settings icon at the top right corner in internet explorer.
    • Click the Tools button, and then click
      Internet Options
      .
    • Click the Connections tab, and then click
      LAN settings
      .
    • Uncheck the box next to "proxy server for your LAN".
    • Click on OK to save the setting and close window.
If the issue still persist you can run App troubleshooter.

Method 4: Run the Windows App Troubleshooter.

I would suggest you to run the inbuilt windows app troubleshooter and check if it helps.
