Windows 10: Microsoft Edge Password Manager deleted

After installing recent updates KB5046617 & KB5045934; I lost all the passwords saved in Microsoft Edge Password Manager. I uninstalled the updates and they are still missing. I will no longer choose to receive the "beta" or "pre-release" updates... I will wait until the proven releases are ready. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks, J.D.

Edge refusing to delete passwords

Hello all, I've started using a password manager and I am trying to tell Edge that I want all the stored passwords deleted - they are now handled by the password manager. I followed the last step of your tutorial here: How to Delete Saved Passwords for Sites in Microsoft Edge Chromium However, when I select Passwords (I have 700+) and I confirm, Edge takes me back to the previous screen but passwords are not being deleted. I can try as much as I want, passwords are always displayed - and suggested, despite the "offer to save password" is disabled. Any help please? Thanks! - - - Updated - - - quick update I did not realise that I can navigate to the "Passwords" screen and select them all. Then delete them all. So, problem solved. Still, the option to remove all the passwords in "clear browsing data" does not work Thanks!

Turn On or Off Offer to Save Passwords in Microsoft Edge

I just finished some testing, and when you say "No" to saving password for a site, it will add the site to the "Manage passwords" list.

Deleting the site from the list will normally have Microsoft Edge ask you to save the password again afterwards.

If you haven't already, double check the list to make sure all instances of the site has been deleted, or delete all saved passwords to start fresh.

Of course – you can run a scan yourself anytime for all your saved passwords by going to edge://settings/passwords. Recent enhancements to this capability include improvements in manual scans (triggered using the 'Scan now' button in Settings), which includes a real-time progress indicator, a 'Stop scan' button, and a helpful summary at the end of the scan. Password Monitor alerts also offer new and more insightful information in every notification, to be more helpful with fewer interruptions.

Password generator: Get strong and unique password suggestions whenever you need them! For more details, see Use Password Generator to create more secure passwords in Microsoft Edge.

Device authentication for autofill: Add an additional layer of privacy to your saved passwords, so you can enjoy more peace of mind when your computer is unlocked or when sharing your device with others. For more info, see Additional privacy for your saved passwords (microsoft.com).

Custom Autofill: Microsoft Edge now supports virtually any type of data. This opens up an exciting and wide range of possibilities. Go to edge://settings/personalinfo and select the ‘Add Personal Info’ button to add any information that you’d like to save to the browser so it’s readily available for autofill the next time you need it.
