Windows 10 slow

I recently installed 3 windows updates on the 13th September and since then my windows 10 Version 1703 as been very slow and lags, thought id give it a while and see if it corrected itself but its still the same, my Microsoft edge on the 13th September after
installing the windows updates and restarting wouldn't load, it was just a dark screen and took a while for it to load Bing, have also noticed Microsoft edge had minor changes to it also, favourites link in top right was just 3 lines and now its 3 lines within
a star, also noticed something new in my task manager called Browser_Broker, that wasn't there before the updates, everything was working perfectly before those 3 windows updates, really don't want to re format my laptop again.

URGENT Windows 10 update 1607 to 1709 on Acer

You did everything correct. It is just a out of control update process that must be corrected in coming versions or consumers will revolt. It doesn't help any of the updates are buggy enough that they are causing catastrophic problems.

Study the steps I gave you so you're prepared if necessary and I will help you as I fly cross-country this evening to the global MVP Summit in Seattle.
