Windows 10: Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard LXM doesn't always support 3 key presses

I recently purchased a Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard LXM-00001

English US Layout
Installed the 'Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center application

Checked devices and checked for new drivers - none as i'm up to date.


I'm using this keyboard for work and gaming, but for some reason there are certain 3 key combinations that do not work.

Type and hold A, and E. Then type G. It won't register. AE then B doesn't all register either.


Another one is
Hold S, E then type H.


I own the tenkeyless sculpt keyboard and tried the same keypresses. It works fine. I've owned the original white natural and the 4000, and this was not an issue with those older keyboards.


I will return this keyboard unless there's a response that this is a valid issue and will be worked on. I don't mind waiting for a fix - few weeks to a month as long as there's progress


I use ESDF instead of WASD for gaming. I then bind G and B for previous and next weapons.

Microsoft ergonomic keyboard key question

I just purchased a Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard (LXM-00001) for use with my iMac.
I can't figure out what the key is between the Ctrl and the Windows logo. It looks like a representation of a page with printing on it, and when I press it when I am in Microsoft word a square comes up. Help?
