Windows 10: Microsoft Ergonomic Sculpt mouse and USB sharing switch

Hi there, I'm trying to get my Microsoft USB mouse to work on two computers and so I'm trying to use a USB switch. The problem is that through the switch the wheel doesn't work, without the switch it works fine. The missing issue seems to be the Microsoft 2.4 GHz Transceiver v9.0, without the switch this is present and the wheel works, with the switch the transceiver and drivers disappear and I get told that there is no Microsoft device available. I would like to know how I can get the transceiver driver to work through the USB switch.

Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse Connect to Different USB Adapter

Hi,

I have the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard and Mouse (wireless with separate USB adapter). Is there any way to connect the keyboard to a different wireless USB adapter that belongs to another Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse?

I brought the keyboard to another system, which also has the same Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse. However, I did not bring the wireless USB adapter, assuming I would be able to pair the keyboard with another USB adapter of the identical product.

Microsoft sculpt ergonomic mouse usb receiver replacement

I've had the cool microsoft sculpt ergonomic mouse now for about 6 weeks. I love it. It has quite a different USB receiver about 1cm longer than a normal mouse USB.

Anyway, the USB receiver for my microsoft sculpt ergonomic mouse bent at 90 degrees, and has broken in two. This was broken in simple carriage to/from work in a laptop back. I've never had this issue with any other mouse, but this Microsoft USB does stick
out much further.

I cant seem to find how i go about getting a replacement usb receiver for this product. Everything online appears to be bagging this product, and no real solutions I could find. I'd welcome very much any ideas, feedback or suggestions?

I wonder whether a smaller more traditional USB receiver would work to avoid this happening again?

I welcome any help or advice please.

Support for Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse?

Why does the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center software fail to detect my Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse? I have tried different USB ports, but no joy.
