Windows 10: Microsoft Family Keeps asking me to sign in.

Hello,I created a Microsoft Family account a while back for my two kids for Minecraft, and one for myself as the administrator. Well, they never used their accounts and so I got rid of my Microsoft account, and ignored their microsoft account. The process of creating a microsoft family account was RIDICULOUSLY difficult and never worked well for me. At one point, I had to create another Microsoft account to be the administrator because for some reason, it thought I was a child on the account. I could never figure out why that was. Parental controls stopped working. Family.Microsoft.com has alert: "Your family member needs to sign in to their Windows 10 device AngLaptop2014 for family features to work.

But the "how to fix this" says

• Select Accounts > Family & other people
• Under Your family, select your family member, then select Allow
• Have your family member sign in with their Microsoft account if asked to

And the steps don't apply. The account is already allowed, and there is no option to change that.

Endless Loop, Microsoft Family Always Asking My Son to 'Sign In To Verify Account'

I've had this issue for several weeks. Microsoft Family keeps prompting me to have my son "sign in to verify his account" of his Surface Pro and his XBox. We follow the provided instructions (navigating to aka.ms/familyverify and signing in) but the 'alert' never goes away. And it's not clear how we can do this on an XBox anyway. I've tried the suggested troubleshooting steps on other Microsoft Community threads, but none of them have made a difference.

I'm sorry to hear that you are facing the issue again.



Just to narrow down the issue, I suggest you to
follow the methods mentioned below.

Method 1

1. Login to
   https://account.microsoft.com/family/ with the Microsoft Account and check if it says Adult/child account.
   
2. After checking the credentials, see if it is part of a family then remove it from the family group and check the status of the issue.
   

If the issue still persists, refer method 2.



Method 2

I suggest you to create a new user profile in Windows 10 and check the status of the issue.
