Windows 10: Microsoft Family Safety not updating correctly using allocated time 'instantly' rather than...

HiI have been using Famly Safety to manage screen time and application time for about 2 years so very familiar with how it works. My son has a windows 11 laptop and an xbox access ... I did have shared screentime and app limits between the two. Screen time continues to work as expected but Minecraft on the PC is not working correctly with the time limit. I can allocate 1 hour of time and as soon as he tries to re-open it the Family Safety App kicks in and offers a request for time because it is completely used.He can click request more time and I get a notification and can then allocate more t

Microsoft family safety not working--at all.

Before we proceed, we require more information to assist you better.

• Which web browser are you using?
• Are the settings on the Family Safety options on your computer are the same with the one on
  http://familysafety.live.com?

I suggest you to login with your parental account and check if you are able to manage the family settings.



If the issue still persist, it might appears that the Child account is not configure correctly. I suggest you to remove the Family Safety and configure it again.

How do I remove Family Safety?

Now, setup Family Safety.
