Microsoft Family Safety: Parent Account No Longer Exists, Cannot Approve Request

I am currently experiencing an issue with my Microsoft account in Windows 11. My account is part of a Microsoft Family group as a child account, and I keep receiving notifications stating that parental approval is required for certain actions. The problem is that the parent account organizer, which was originally linked to approve these requests, no longer exists. The email address associated with the parent account has been deleted or is no longer accessible.Because of this, I cannot receive any approvals, manage my account, or leave the family group. I have tried the fol

Windows 10 Family Safety is blocking my browser!!!

Can you confirm if you are out of the Family Safety feature on your parent's account on this
link? If you've confirmed that you're no longer on the list of monitored child accounts, we suggest deleting the Family Safety folder. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows key + E on your keyboard.
    • On the address bar, type this address C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Parental Controls and press
      Enter.
    • Delete all contents of the Parental Controls folder.
    • Restart and see if the issue is resolved.

Let us know how it went for you.

    Family Safety Approval

The browser runs fine and I am able to use it and certain websites (so long as I have received permission) but the problem is truly that there is no definite way to know if your request has been approved. Here's a scenario to help visualize the problem:

One day my parent is away from home and I am working on school at home. So, I have to send a request for permission and I do. My parent approves the request, but without any normal form of telecommunication, I can not tell when my request has been approved. There is no dialogue box that pops up and says "your request has been approved" or something along those lines. I cannot know when or if my request has been approved.

I would like to recommend a feature with a dialogue box to be added to Microsoft Family Safety, that way; those under the child permissions are able to know whether or not they have had a request approved.

Thank you for your continued help and congratulations on your ten year reign as the Microsoft MVP. Keep up the good work.

    Family Safety Approval

I have suggested an update to Microsoft concerning the functions of approvals and requests (ALT-SHIFT-I) and am waiting to see if there will be an update for Microsoft Family Safety. I'm afraid I wasn't able to access the other websites due to my current restrictions, but I do thank you for continuing to try to help me. At this point, I believe that it is up to executives (or whatever position determines updates) to fix the problem.
