Windows 10: Microsoft Family Won't Let Me Leave the Group

I've logged into Microsoft family as the following article asks and tried the steps. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/leave-family-group-or-remove-members-6d806bbb-eb38-a978-10f4-3bbb814ffcc4However, there is no three-dot menu for me to click on over my name. I don't have a family group, and I don't remember signing up for one. Every time I open my laptop a popup asks me to sign in so my 'parents' can monitor screentime or validate purchases, but this is my account as an adult. I've had my email since I was younger, so maybe it's some carryover from that? Regardless, there i

Family Organizer Leaving Family Group

• If Mother was the administrator of the Family Group, you can exit the Family Group directly, and Mother will automatically become the Family Group organizer.
  
  If you want to stay in the Family Group, you need to rejoin, either as an administrator or as a regular Family Group member.
  
  Visit Getting started with Microsoft Family Safety for more details.
  

• If Mother was already a member of the Family Group, you need to remove her from the Family Group, then add it again, and need to select "Administrator" when selecting the role.
  

Meanwhile, you can dissolve the Family Group, and then let the new organizer send an invitation to re-establish the Family Group. Visit Leave family group or remove members (microsoft.com) for more details.

Leaving or being removed from a family group will not delete Microsoft accounts. However, family groups without an organizer and at least one other family member will be deleted.

Family Organizer cannot leave family group

As I describe in the title, I cannot leave the family group. The instruction suggest the following:

1. Using a web browser, sign in to family.microsoft.com.
   
2. Click ... next to your name and select Leave family group.
   
3. Select Remove to confirm.
   

However, I cannot locate any ... sign next to my name. Please help me with this issue.
