    Hey!

    So, I bought MSFS2020 gamepass to test it out for only £1 anyway, I started the installation, left it on overnight and woke up and its all installed fine. At first I tried to just hit continue as the game was still open so I did and this happened: https://gyazo.com/1cbad08bf7659e143e383ceb08865adc


    Oh ok, then I restarted and relaunched the PC now, it loads in all the way to the "checking for updates" screen then the loading bar freezes and I have to kill it in task manager. The only way I can get past this is to delete the most recently modified file inside of the installation files however this produces the same error mentioned in the above paragraph.

    I did some investigating and found that I had two windowsapps, one in the D drive one I wanted it in and one in the C drive with MSFS2020 in it aswell. So launched via administrator and looked what app it was launching, it was the C drive launcher instead of the D drive one. So it was launching the C drive .exe but I believe it was supposed to launch the D drive one.

    TLMicrosoft Flight Sim 2020 MSFS2020 Freezing on "Checking for updates" And possibly... :DR Game either freezes when you hit continue after installation and when you relaunch gets stuck at checking for updates also launches the wrong .exe.
    My drive, with the app installed it should be running it out from here but instead runs it out of the C Drive.

    Is it possible for me to just run microsoft flight sim 2020 at around 30 fps with lowest settings possible ? Moreover point of information this a laptop which was purchased 8 hours ago. So im willing to know if the sim could run at lowest setting and 30fps

    Hi all. I'm new to this community. I am looking at buying the 2020 flight sim but wondering a few things :

    I have a laptop, can I download to use the Flight sim?

    I also have a smart TV LG OLED, can I play the program through the TV? The OLED picture quality is stunning, I think to marry the Flight Sim with it would be perfect. If not possible could I cast from the laptop?

    Either way, what would the resolution be? The tv is capable of 4k.

    Anybody any ideas?
