INSTALLING MSFS 2020 TO PC

I initially purchased MSFS Deluxe 40th Anniversary Edition via Amazon on 5-25-23. The software worked intermittently and I ultimately had to uninstall it. After reinstallation, the Microsoft site would not allow me to redeem the original product key a second time. I attempted to contact Xbox Support but was unable to get the support needed to resolve this issue. How can the code be reset so that I can redeem the software I purchased a second time?

Since I wasn't able to redeem the reinstalled MSFS Deluxe 40th Anniversary Edition software I purchased the Microsoft Flight Premium Deluxe 40th Anniversary Edition digital version via Xbox Live on 07/23/2023. After installation to my C: drive I attempted to play the game. It attempted to load then paused and displayed a full black screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the flight simulator with the same results. I attempted to request a refund via the Xbox website but it too only cycles and will not accept or process a refund. I also attempted to contact Xbox Support using their website however the web page does not load but only cycles.

I want to download digital version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th Anniversary on to my windows 11 pc. I understand it takes hours for this to complete. Do I need to keen my monitor on all the time during download, or can it go into sleep mode whist downloading? Thank you for your help.
