Windows 10: Microsoft Flight Sim - Throttle control stops working on Boeing during mid flight

All other planes fine but upon needing to throttle down in the boeing the buttons just seem to stop responding. All other controls work fine, take off throttle control is fine. Decreasing throttle works until a little into into the flight. This is on an xbox elite control plugged into pc. Toggling the ai control doesn't fix anything. I've assured the ai control is off even for ATC although I cant see the relevance.

And, with more than 250 programmable button options integrated into a fully featured HOTAS (or Hands On Throttle-and-Stick) design, you’re able to access critical aircraft systems without taking your hands off the controls.

The system is also easy to set up; just connect the throttle and the pedals to the joystick cable, and plug the USB connector into your computer. And all components feature mounting hard points, making it easy to secure them to a surface. Force Feedback Joystick

Microsoft Flight Simulator issue after Windows 10 Upgrade

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.



I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

Refer the steps below to uninstall.

• Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
• Open programs and features.
• In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
  Remove.

Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



Reinstall the Flight Simulator.

Microsoft Flight Sim X

Dear Community

I would be very grateful if someone out there can help me with the answer to what is hopefully a very simple question:

I have just purchased Microsoft Flight Sim X Steam edition. I purchased this with the intention of using a B737 (Pref.600-800 series) add-on. Could somebody please tell me if such an add-on for FSX exists? Where could I find this ? JustFlight.com for
eg, seems to list every single aircraft on the planet except the two most popular aircraft ever created - namely Boeing/Airbus.

Any help really appreciated.
