Windows 10: Microsoft Flight Simulation 2020 Unable To Download

i’m a FSX ex game player, for about ten years and have downloaded many addons with no problems with my basic computer knowledge and decided to purchase the latest flightsim


what the hell is this Microsoft Flight Simulation 2020 download ?, i press the install button and one gigabyte downloads and the computer says game installed but obviously has not because there is another 126 gigs to go, i press play and just get a black screen, i get no other option to install more data


i have spent the last month reading help from others in the same situation and tried all suggestions to complete the download without success


the download error gives the code 0x80073CF9 and i have tried everything others have recommended, disconnected my AVG anti virus etc,etc believe me i have tried the lot without success


i have drawn the line on suggestions of going into HKEY registry and make changes of values from one to zero as i am not a computer programmer etc after all i paid £109.99 for Microsoft to write the programme not me


have left several help requests to microsoft / forums etc and never had a reply, maybe i have a corrupt download copy but no help at all from microsoft


i purchased this software on a credit card which is due for payment but am putting the transaction into dispute as nowhere has it ever been stated during the purchase process that an advanced level of computer knowledge is needed to download and make this game work

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Hi. I have two questions:

1) I have been using Flight Simulator since its release on Aug 18. Today, I stated the Simulator, it loaded OK, I created a free flight, clicked on Fly, when I tried to use the joystick and keyboard to start and use the simulator, they both did not work
and would not control anything...they were unresponsive. Checked the Controllers section in the Simulator set up section and the keyboard and Thrustmaster M1600 Joystick were listed and the keyboard and joystick action assignments were still there and responded
when I clicked a joystick button and keyboard key....the assignment box in the Controller section responded when I pressed a key or button. Rebooted the computer with no change. Do you have any suggestions?

2) How do I uninstall and reinstall MSFS 2020 in the event that is the only way to fix this problem? Please provide instructions and where to download the MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe Edition from.
