Windows 10: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 install size only 95Gib?

I had recently pre-ordered the premium deluxe edition of microsoft flight simulator 2020 and installed it first time perfectly fine however, a few weeks into the simulator the Japan update came out and each time I tried to update the sim, it froze and went back down to 0%. Seeing no solution to the problem I deleted all microsoft flight simulator files from my computer and uninstalled the sim. I then went to reinstall the game and much to my surprise saw that the game only had 95Gib to install however I thought the game was 150Gib in size. Will I be missing content as that is nearly 60Gib less than the size of the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Microsoft Flight Simulator issue after Windows 10 Upgrade

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.



I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

Refer the steps below to uninstall.

• Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
• Open programs and features.
• In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
  Remove.

Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



Reinstall the Flight Simulator.
