Windows 10: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Standard Edition will not start

I purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Standard Edition and had it working on my computer. I have not used it for a couple weeks and when I tried to start it up today it just keeps taking me to the Microsoft Store, Gaming services screen. On that screen it says "This product is installed" and has a button "Install on my Devices".


I tried pressing "Install on my Devices" on the same device that I used when I originally set it up and it says "downloading" and returns back to "This product is installed". When I try restarting Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 it comes back again to the same Gaming Services screen.


What should I do to get it working?

Hi. I have two questions:

1) I have been using Flight Simulator since its release on Aug 18. Today, I stated the Simulator, it loaded OK, I created a free flight, clicked on Fly, when I tried to use the joystick and keyboard to start and use the simulator, they both did not work
and would not control anything...they were unresponsive. Checked the Controllers section in the Simulator set up section and the keyboard and Thrustmaster M1600 Joystick were listed and the keyboard and joystick action assignments were still there and responded
when I clicked a joystick button and keyboard key....the assignment box in the Controller section responded when I pressed a key or button. Rebooted the computer with no change. Do you have any suggestions?

2) How do I uninstall and reinstall MSFS 2020 in the event that is the only way to fix this problem? Please provide instructions and where to download the MSFS 2020 Premium Deluxe Edition from.

A few observations as long as you're here:

• You asked your question in a Windows 7 forum. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is only for Windows 10. If you attempted to install MFS 2020 on a Windows 7 system, that could account for all sorts of problems.
• Even if you have Windows 10, you need a fairly powerful system to get MFS 2020 to work properly. See, for example,

the game is only available in Europe. It's a pack of 10 discs for the game, which come inside an expandable box.
