Windows 10: Microsoft FSX error

Last night, I went off the game, and came back today for it to not show up anywhere, not in my files, nothing. Luckily I got that fixed, however now it has an error, code number being; 1-80004005, I searched up how to fix it, and tried all the things it said, and still can't get it to work. Why is it doing this and how do I fix it? I really need help on this one. It was working perfectly the day before.

Microsoft FSX

I installed FSX standard on a windows 10 PC. I had to uninstall it and I removed the registry entries. When I tried to reinstall it, I get the options to repair or remove the program. Neither of which I can do as I have uninstalled the program.

I tried downloading Microsoft installer V4.5 but it wont run(error 0x8009602)

I tried Microsoft program install and uninstall but FSX is not in the list and the product code on the FSX box is too short to satisfy the program

Any help or suggestions appreciated

1. Fill sys specs, that will help others to help you,
2. list the driver using right now, also the operative system you are runing,
if possible bring a pic of the error, or error code if available...

Makes "0" sense with such a brutal video card having problems with that game,

 

FSX activation error

Hello! I am an Independent Advisor, I would love to help you out!

The first steps I would try are:

1) Locate the entry below by regedit.exe

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\CLASS

\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

2) Look at UpperFilters key. It should contain “PartMgr” only.

3) If the key shows something more, mark down what they are

before editing the key to read “PartMgr” only.

4) Start FSX, the activation dialog should be prompted.

5) Proceed and let FSX start, then exit FSX.

6) Edit back the registry key with the previous content. (This step may not be required.)

If that does not work then I would suggest to restart your computer and try again. If that does not work then I would suggest to uninstall and re-install completely.
