    Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth.... Cannot get rid of


    HiTrying to disable or delete the Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, but if I disable or uninstall it in the device manager, and then refresh, or reboot, it's right back there again.Wouldn't be so bad if I could find a control panel for it, or a volume control anywhere for it so I could mute it.Any help appreciated.B

    I can't find Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth.

    Hello? I can't find Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth from midi port list.

    Therefore, I only use MIDI Yoke port to play midi.

    Hello,

    Within Device Manager there is listed within Software Devices...Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth which i never took notice of.

    Just out of curiosity...do you plug in a real synthesizer via some connecting console to back of pc to use this ..or is there a
    is a built in synthesizer which is hidden ?


    My OS is Windows 10 Pro 21H2 version 19044.1949 with latest updates.
