Windows 10: Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth - How to Add a New Instrument

Many years ago, I added a Steam Calliope instrument to my system. It still plays and sounds like it should when I open the MIDI file in Windows Media Player. I would like to have this instrument working on my other computers. I don't remember what I did to get it working. I do not have a "Calliope File" on my system.How did I do it?How can I get the Steam Calliope instrument working on my other computers? Can I somehow extract a "Calliope file". How would I add a new instrument to the GS Wavetable Synth?I can see the Calliope instrument in MidiEditor and the MIDI file plays properly ther

I was using XP now I have a new computer with windows 10. I cannot find Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth. How do I find it or get it for my midi music programs in windows 10?

Therefore, I only use MIDI Yoke port to play midi.

Failure to open Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth on Win 10

I upgraded to Win 10, and most things are smooth. However one ongoing irritation is when I run Jammer 6 (a MIDI music composition app). When it starts, it always gives a failure notice saying:

Error 1003003 opening: Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth.

MIDI Output Device: Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth - not found.

I click OK, go to settings and choose Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, which the app then uses without a problem.

Admittedly, Jammer is a bit dated (although still very useful). Nevertheless, it's worked on Win 7 and 8 with no issues.

Anyone have any suggestions? I tried running As Admin, no change.
