    Microsoft Hello Not Updating


    I didn't know I had Microsoft hello until I attempted to sign into my device and it prompted me for a pin. I tried many different pins and had to restart my device many times but still could not figure out the pin so I used another device to reset the pin. After resetting the pin I tried again and it still said that my pin was incorrect. I then got rid of my Microsoft pin all together yet I am still continually prompted for the pin. This is feature is ridiculous for the sole reason that it isn't functional and I'm not sure where to go from here. The only difference I can think of is that the d

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    1. Have you made any changes on your computer prior to this issue?
    2. Do you have access to another administrator account on your computer?
    3. Have you recently updated or upgraded your pc?

    I suggest you try to login using the onscreen keyboard and enter your credential carefully and check if that helps. Follow the below steps to use on screen keyboard.

    1. Select the Ease of Access
      button in the lower-right corner of the sign-in screen.
    2. Select On-Screen Keyboard.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
